Apple Now Has More Money Than The U.S Government

The increasing growth of Apple apps, its revenue, employees, and products hardly seem to impress me anymore. Why? Because the company has become so successful in its field that it is usual for it to report amazing revenue figures. An example of this is the recent report by the Financial Post that revealed Apple having more cash than the US Government!
The report mentioned that the US Treasury Department stated its operating balance to be US$73.768 billion. On the other hand as per Apple’s most recent quarterly earnings the company has cash reserves of US$75.76 billion.
While the figures correspond to two entirely different sets of expenses and revenues, they still provide a strong indication of how strong Apple has become. Ever since the launch of its iPhone in 2007, Apple has steadily grown its product range and revenue figures.
With a recent share price of US$400 only bright things seem to appear in Apple’s future.
