Apple Apps Beat McDonald’s Burgers Sale Record (Infographic)
Having more than five hundred thousand applications in the App Store have you ever thought how much they sell everyday? To give you a small idea of the whole thing Apple actually released a small report about 3 months back that the Apple Store has successfully surpassed 15 billion downloads and the big credit goes to their 200 million iOS users around the world.
Recently, an infographic has been published by ZDNet‘s Eric Lai that reveals some interesting facts about the App store. In their own words
“The world may love hamburgers, but it loves apps even more. Both Apple and Google are projected to deliver 100 billion downloads in fraction of the time it took McDonald’s to serve up 100 billion hamburgers. Indeed, based on Android Market’s recent exponential growth, Google’s store might hit 100 billion downloads as early as April 2012. The gap between Apple and Google, and the rest of the mobile field, appears to be widening, not narrowing.
